I was sitting on my deck at 5.45 pm today enjoying the last rays of sun, =
when I heard and saw a female hummer trying to sip from the bedraggled =
impatiens in the boxes on my deck rail a few feet away. She must have =
been in transit as she showed no interest in the two feeders overhead, =
which I haven=E2=80=99t yet taken down.
