 Kevin Lantz and I on Saturday at the Marsh Road=2C Digby Neck=2C had a Swa=
inson's thrush. On the pelagic from Brier Island today we saw a South Pola=
r Skua=2C a Pomarine jaeger=2C three Atlantic puffins=2C 203 Great shearwat=
ers=2C two sooty shearwaters=2C 22 northern gannets=2C and some petrel sp. =
 The waves and distance did not allow ID of the petrels=2C which likely wer=
e Leach's. Although pelagic birds were scarce on the whale outing we were=
 told they were very plentiful across St. Mary's Bay this morning. =20
=20
On Brier Island Saturday we were only able to come up with 35 species. Tod=
ay including those species seen on the pelagic we had 45 species. We had t=
o work hard for the birds that we did locate. We saw the lesser black-back=
ed gull which is tending at Pond Cove. I'll send an e-bird listing of spec=
ies and numbers later. =20
