Hello all,

I have a reader who needs advice. Please respond to me and I will pass the
advice on to her.

Here is her message: "The goldfinch got itself stuck to glue substance on
our mosquito vac outside, managed to get him off gently, but alas - his
tail feathers happened to get stuck on it. He is amazing, have had him or
her for about a week now and is doing fine... but i was wondering if by any
chance you would know how long it takes for these tail feathers to grow
back or if he can just use his wings to get airborne enough to return to a
flock of his own, am afraid something will happen to him being in solitary
confinement... any info you can give me i would so appreciate..."
