I=E2=80=99m seeing a number of birds now fly catching and burying seeds. =
I wonder if it is simply a normal action for them but new to me because =
I stay still long enough to see it happening? Marg Millard, White =
Point, Queens.
OH! We have painted lady butterflies here again today. Friday at Western =
Head there were Painted Ladies, possibly an American Lady, a Red Admiral =
and several Monarchs on the lane to the lighthouse. The area around the =
lighthouse has been mowed so the food supply there, isn=E2=80=99t this =
year sadly. I checked Andrews Head Monday and only saw a couple painted =
ladies.=20
................................................
A few years ago in moncton I watched a Nuthatch "fly catching" from a =
tree by my driveway during a hatch of flying ants
