I was in Toronto last week, and I had the opportunity to do a morning's
birding on the Toronto Islands. There wasn't much to see bird-wise, but
there must have been hundreds of Monarchs, mostly feeding on flowers in one
of the ornamental gardens, but also. heading out over Lake Ontario in a
southerly direction, mostly at about 10-20 metres height, almost
continuously while I was there.
