Subject: Active Sea and Golden Eagle

The joint is jumping off Duncan Reef but the south wind made my eyes =
water and I have another appointment. Yesterday, Ray Staszko had =
Atlantic White-sided Dolphins off Jeffries Island, Duncan's Cove. This =
morning in five minutes at Duncan Reef I had Black Scoters, White-winged =
Scoters, Atlantic Puffins and lots of Northern Gannets. Yesterday I =
thought I saw a Golden Eagle hereabouts and as luck would have it I had =
it confirmed this morning by a resident of Duncan's Cove. It landed on a =
rock just 30 feet from him yesterday. Where was I and my camera?

Get to high ground overlooking the sea if you can. Duncan Reef is the =
best place by far but its exposed to the south wind this morning. The =
bunker by the Chebucto Head Light is a second choice or the bluffs at =
Hartlen Point.
