A beautiful day indeed.

..............................
And a great day it was Marg. The typical "Calm before the Storm"
I would say.
I sat out in the garden as the sun went down and for a spell afterwards.
A lot of insects - crane flies, moth and who knows what else.
They started to fly after dark so its hard to see them but they were
visible against the western sky.
A flock of ducks flew by 40 - 50 about - looked like mallards / Blacks
except
for a little group of 3 with 2 Green Winged Teal and an unknown medium sized
duck. They looked good.
A couple of minutes later an Eagle floated by - perhaps hoping for Duck for
supper.
Most things have gotten brown except for the rhodies. They seem best just
now.
Enjoy the fall
Paul
