This is the second time we=E2=80=99ve had, in our yard, at lunchtime, a =
bird that fits the description of the wood pewee or flycatcher. It was =
quite close to me (I was looking out the window.) for a few seconds. It =
had a grey head with a small tuft, very distinct wing bars, a white =
throat and very light breast, and a thin, sharp beak. I didn=E2=80=99t =
see it flick its tail, and I didn=E2=80=99t see if it had a circle =
around its eye. I thought it was a bit bigger than a =
goldfinch=E2=80=94maybe house sparrow-sized.  It didn=E2=80=99t go near =
the feeders.
I suppose it can=E2=80=99t last out the winter.
