While out deliverimg forms=2C scouting=2C etc. today for Saturday's count=
=2C I was able to get good looks at the well-reported Western Tanager at th=
e Jones' feeder at Ross Lane in Middleton about 1515=2C and about 30 minute=
s later=2C a well-marked Yellow-throated Warbler at Don Kelly's feeding sta=
tion at 12 Victoria St.=2C also in Middleton. Don and Ruth say that they h=
ave seen it several times during the past week or so. With patience=2C vis=
itors can see it coming to the suet logs behind his house from the driveway=
or the one next door. Don's health is not 100%=2C so it is better to mini=
mize disturbing them.

The Kingston Xmas Bird Count=2C which includes both Middleton and Aylesford=
=2C is scheduled for Saturday=2C Dec. 27=2C and we still need about 3 field=
observers. Anyone interested please contact me at 902-765-2455=2C or at =
Neilyornis@hotmail.com=2C ASAP. Also=2C any feeder observers living in the=
circle who have a species that is uncommon=2C or that you do not recognize=
=2C or who would like to observe on count day=2C please call today if possi=
ble.

Christmas cheer to all=2C
