My first bird sighting on Jan 01/2015=2C after opening the curtains for the
back yard window was a pair of N Cardinals=2C M & F.
Likely the same pair seen on Dec 24 and 27. They checked out the feeders
but I did not see then take any seed. They were more interested in the
Multi-flora rose tangle by the back fence where they fed on the rose hips.
Unfortunately=2C the Starlings like them too. There aren't many left.
