Hi All=2C
I don't have any more knowledge than the person interviewed in the CBP =
article but the idea that the mackerel froze to death seems a bit strange t=
o me. Winter's onset this year has been about average to date=2C so far as =
I can tell. Also it's a big lake=3B there should be parts where they could =
swim to that would be warmer? Why is it only mackerel that died? Wouldn't o=
ther species freeze to death if that was indeed the cause of death? Are the=
re any other instances of this happening (fish freezing to death)=2C in the=
Bras-dOr-Lakes or any large open bodies of water in the Maritimes? All the=
 best.
