David Walmark sent me the following today:

Coming back this afternoon from Kingsburg beach looking to the left I saw =
a Bittern flying literally alongside the car at the edge of the pond =3B =
then it landed in front of Manson Mossman=92s house . So I drove home for m=
y camera and parked a the next house up the road - that=92s being shingled=
- and walked back for my photo =2C all to no avail . He lifted up and lan=
ded in the swamp / wet area in front of that same house =2C but I never sa=
w him again =2C nor did I see him fly up /off =2C so may be in our area ov=
ernight .=20
