We too are being visited by quite a number of pine siskins, seems to be =
different groups, up to 50 or more a couple minutes ago, and every now =
and again there are up to 20 or more Redpolls. They are very edgy! Any =
movement (trying to get photos even through a window) puts them to wing =
so we=E2=80=99ll let them feed. There are so many on the sock at times =
you can=E2=80=99t see the sock!=20

We don=E2=80=99t often see them so it is very exciting.=20

Marg Millard, White Point, Queens

.......................................................

A flock of 30-odd (5 redpolls and about 25 siskins) swept in and swept =
out of our feeding area at the house on the Wyman Road just now. One =
male redpoll was quite rosy and the females were dark, almost =
=E2=80=93siskin coloured, so were not hoaries.
