Hi Ron,
Welcome and we are fortunate to have you as a bluenoser now!

In case you are not already aware of these:
- Nova Scotia Bird Society meets most months, 4th Thursday, in Halifax (and
has very active Facebook group)
- Blomidon Naturalists Society meets the third Monday, most months in
Wolfville (and has a new Facebook group)
- Minas Astronomy Group, Second Saturday of each month in Avonport
- We also have a very active eBird community
