Hi Blake and all:
=20
Very cold and windy today and my day did not go as intended. I had not mov=
ed the car yesterday=2C which was not in my favour. Today my car tires wer=
e frozen to the point that I could not get my car broken free of the ice un=
til an hour and half of effort. I tried chipping=2C then cardboard under t=
he tires and then had to resort to multiple trips for boiling hot water in =
the kettle and pots. I finally was able to melt the ice enough to get the =
car free. A sigh of releif but less birding time. =20
=20
I was able to pick up some birds that I didn't see mentioned. So the list =
would be Canada Goose=2C American wigeon=2C mallard=2C long-tailed duck=2C =
red-breasted merganser=2C common merganser=2C great black-backed gull=2C bl=
ack guillemot=2C horned grebe=2C Iceland gull=2C surf scoter=2C common loon=
=2C greater scaup=2C lesser scaup=2C white-throated sparrow=2C dark-eyed ju=
nco=2C common goldeneye and American black duck. =20
