If you are getting a little jaded with the cold and snow, take heart!

This weekend is the low point on the long-term average temperature
curve. The graph begins to trend upward again starting on Monday.

If my math is correct, Spring arrives in just about six weeks.

Peter Payzant
Waverley

p.s. The data I'm using are the Climate Normals for Shearwater Airport,
1951-1980, from Environment Canada. The curve will be slightly different
for other locations within the province, and there is a newer data set
now available which I don't have yet.
