Hi All,                                Feb 20, 2015
    Supressing freedom of expression has some positive effects. =20

    Where this has been standard practice for some significant time the =
problems of obesity and conspicuous consumption are eliminated. Just =
about everyone, except the ruling elite and corrupt officials, are =
emaciated and in rags.

  Hmm=E2=80=A6 I don=E2=80=99t have a problem with monetarily targeting =
folks who take unfair advantage of not-for-profits, but suggest that =
such characters are rare birds. I have a huge problem if honest =
disagreement with the direction a government takes gets construed as a =
=E2=80=9Cpolitical=E2=80=9D activity. Mutually respectful debate helps =
all of us find the right answer, and the best friends tell us when we =
are going astray.

  =20

  Stifling debate has adverse effects on respect and trust.

    I think you missed the point Paul. This group is being hasseled =
because it is voicing concerns about what the government is doing that =
might hurt the birds, etc. As a birding group they should be able to =
voice their displeasure and not be silenced. It shouldn't affect their =
charitable status.=20
