 After scanning through the winter gull population in the Tacoma Drive/ Main Street fast food area of Dartmouth for a good many years, I was finally able to pick out a Common (Mew) Gull this year, which appears to have been hanging out with the predominately Ring-billed Gull portion of the group in the lower Sobeys parking lot. Here is a pic:

I likely seen the same gull approximately 2 weeks ago in the same location, but at the time wasn't able to get a second look sufficient for a confirmed sighting.
