Down here in the Banana Belt, there is very little snow remaining. One
thing I haven't noticed this spring are those little snow midges, which
usually show up late on fine afternoons to prance in the sunlight amidst the
melting snow. Not sure what is going on but has anyone else had a similar
experience?

(I keep hoping that this winter will deal a blow to black-legged ticks.
Guess we'll have to see on that one!)
