We had a good day on the Nova Scotia Bird Society Bacarro/Blanche Field Tri=
p. It looks like a lot of the American robins overshot and came to Queens=
=2C Lunenburg and counties further in the direction of Cape Breton. Normal=
ly on this field trip the coast would be polluted with American robins and =
we saw relatively few. Also=2C passerines were few when I know there are m=
any in Queens=2C Lunenburg and beyond. Close to Port Clyde we had four mal=
e brown-headed cowbirds. At the end of the Blanche Peninsula there was a s=
nowy egret. The other bird worthy of mentioning is the northern gannet. T=
here was a large flight past Bacarro Light. =20
