Just saw a Woodcock out behind the house. I haven't seen one all day, same as yesterday then about suppertime there is one or maybe two. Maybe this one will stay around. Steve says the conditions (aside from cats) would suit it. 2 of "Our" chipmunks are back again, finally. We were very concerned for awhile but this morning one made its presence known and has been gathering up bird seed and tucking it away somewhere. We also have 5 Red winged blackbirds feeding. They seem to be mixed in with Grackles. Too many grackles again this year.
