Hi all:
=20
For those who are keeping track. I had a painted turtle up on a log at Mill=
er's Point Peace Park today. =20
=20
Last night we saw a snowshoe hare. It had totally changed colour to brown.=
 =20
=20
On the basis of the eagle nest in Dayspring=2C just outside of Bridgewater=
=2C I'm not clear as to the status. I spoke to one of the people who lives=
there and has been watching the nest daily. He says that there is lots of=
activity and the one adult is on the nest most of the time=2C but the pair=
are still adding to the nest daily. I could see no activity at all at the=
nest when I was there today. I saw a brief glimpse of the one adult up th=
e road. So I don't know if incubation was attempted and failed or if incub=
ation has not started yet or if the one adult was croached down on the nest=
so that I was unable to see it. =20
=20
On my stroll through Miller's Point Peace Park today=2C things were much qu=
ieter than I would expect. I did hear three vocal yellow-rumped warblers t=
hough.
