A number of years ago the pond on the Osprey Golf course in Bridgewater had
</div>
<div>
a large population of gold fish. That as on the old Van Cassell farm but a pair
</div>
<div>
of Great Blue Herons moved in and had a wonderful summer. By fall the goldfish were no more.
</div>
<div>
Rumour had it that there was goldfish on the Lahave River but I never saw it confirmed.
</div>
<div>
At any rate the Pickerel in the Lahave make that an academic question at this point.
</div>
<div>
Enjoy the last of the ice and snow!
</div>
