Yesterday at the Palmeter Woods (N. Kentville) area (besides the birds Judy=
found)=2C there was a Black & White Warbler singing along the RR bed. At S=
even Bridges I heard a Sharp-shin complaining. As I approached I saw two Gr=
ackles fly up so I assumed they were harassing the hawk. However could not =
find it. Also there was a Spotted Sandpiper=2C Tree Swallows=2C Catbird & a=
Purple Finch (singing=2C always enjoyable). I note Canada Geese were not o=
n the large pond. If they don't return=2C it will be the first year they ha=
ve not nested here in many years.
