First Hummer in Scots Bay today [May 6th]. It was a female. This is a week
early for us and usually it is always males here for a week before a female
shows up.

Also, the Eagle on the nest by the Fire Hall was standing on the edge of her
nest, calling out in an unusual manner and looking/necking down repeatedly.
I will keep a close eye out for a true eaglet sighting in the coming days.
