Reminds me of a frustrating experience outside Carleton school several
summers back. Small, brownish fliers 'way up high. Couldn't figure out
whether they were swifts or bank swallows!

Subject: [NatureNS] Re: Chimney Swifts, Kentville

Folks - I'm retracting this sighting of Chimney Swifts. I was with tired
kids, birds were very high, and I heard no chittering (which I thought was
odd at the time) and did not have bins - so not ruling out wishful thinking
and the dozens of barn swallows currently in the area that look similar when
very high.

Cheers
