Sky was = overcast, temperature about 17-18 C., not rainy. =20 It=92s well known that the overnighting chimney swifts are quite = variable in what time of the next day they =93decide=94 to get active = and leave their roost-site. Most often they exit quite early in the = morning, but mid-morning exits are common, and they sometimes =93sleep = in=94 until noon or even 1:00 p.m., in my experience.
