Hi Paul,
It is where the outflow from Little River Lake exits into Black River
lake.
In a more enlightened age, when NS Power understood that there is more
to life than maximum profit/income, one could drive to the dam (up the road
parallel to BRL), camp there, fish, picnic at NSP tables or on the lakeside,
meet a canoe that had left Route 12 and preferred to not paddle upstream
[hard going at times], swim etc.
The last I heard that road is gated to this side of the Narrows.
