The road to Methals Dam is on the western side of the lake accessed from Dee=
p Hollow Road. The road is gated by NSP at the narrows. Last I heard (as the=
re are a few land owners with keys who are permitted to use the road above t=
he gate) the road was in rough shape due to lumber trucks a number of years b=
ack. May be fixed by now as NSP uses the road with their pickups.

Bicycle is a viable option.=20

So is a canoe, from above or below.=20

If I remember correctly there is enough room to squeeze an ATV around the ro=
ad gate. I sometimes carry a canoe down to the narrows or walk into Mud Lake=
.

Good Morning,
Can someone please tell me where Methal's Dam on Black river Lake is?
Can I drive to it with a 4-wheel vehicle?
Paul.
