Hi all
Tonight was the first of 4 official counts for swift watch through the maritimes. At Temperance St the old school chimney was a pretty busy spot. First few swifts entered at 20:39. However the big numbers entered 20:54-57. Last 2 entered 21:05. My grand total was 357.
Keep June 2 marked on your calendar as a celebration of Chimney Swifts and Piping Plovers will take place at the New Glasgow library followed by viewing of the swifts entering the chimney. More details to follow.
Cheers
Ken
