Dusan, hi. We=E2=80=99d like to get a bit more information about this =
excursion, if you could oblige. We=E2=80=99ve been canoeing and =
kayaking all our adult lives, but in a leisurely way. Now, =
we=E2=80=99re in our early 70=E2=80=99s, and our usual paddle (canoe) is =
only 2-3 hours in calm waters. We haven=E2=80=99t been out yet this =
spring.
This trip sounds lovely, and we=E2=80=99re thinking perhaps we might be =
able to do a part of the day with you. So, our questions: =
We=E2=80=99re assuming the portage hike is to Flat Lake. Is that =
correct? Are you planning to do that in the morning?
We=E2=80=99d like to take part in that hike. So, could we join you for =
the paddle to the portage? Then we could just make our own way back =
afterwards. Are you planning to circumnavigate Cox=E2=80=99s Lake? =20
If you are planning the hike for after lunch, perhaps we could just put =
in later in the morning and meet you (although I expect the =
south-westerlies will have picked up by the afternoon).
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jane and Dave Schlosberg
