Apologies for the spellings.. I have a degerative vision issue that I am trying to come to grips with,, so typos get missed, even with re-reads.. very frustrating. sorry..

I will check to see who is monitoring. IN the interim, hjang on to the sighting infromation, or pass on to me at the Museum.. In the interim, I have been keeping track of reports pending a formal procedure.

Subject: [NatureNS] Bat - Canning, Kings Co.

9 June 2015
Main St. Canning, Kings Co. NS
915 PM
1 Small bat (probable Little Brown Bat)
Directly across from the village Post Office.

I tried to submit my observation to the http://www.batconservation.ca/ however the web-page hasn't been activated for the summer season despite the website activation date.

If anyone happens to know who to contact regarding bat-sightings in absence of this service, would you mind passing this email along to the appropriate authority.

Thank-you,
Ian
