folks,
This Saturday, June 20:

*Marsh Madness II* - a day to explore the marsh with local wildlife and
wetlands experts.
- the day component takes place form 10-2 (Purolator Tackle Hunger cash BBQ
at lunch)
- a night walk with the infamous Andrew Hebda, NSMNH takes place at 9:15 pm
with bat detectors and a mothing station
See the advertisement here: http://www.blomidonnaturalists.ca/node/590

*Tree Swallow Chick Banding Demonstration - 1:30 pm at the east marsh by
the nest box grid. *In this, our first year of the project, 9 of 10 boxes
are occupied and most are at the nestling stage already. PhD candiate, and
licensed bander,Tara Imlay will be on hand to do a chick banding demo. A
good opportunity to see chicks up close and learn about Aerial Insectivore
Research.
See the advertisement here: http://www.blomidonnaturalists.ca/node/574

All ages. All welcome.

James.
