I was able to get very nice looks at Jupiter and Venus in the same field of
view in my spotting scope around 10pm this evening low in the western sky.
4 of Jupiter's moons were visible, and when turning the zoom up from 25 to
60x, the bands on the disk were visible. Venus was below and to the north a
few degrees, and visible as a crescent in the scope, but much brighter.
