  <div>
   Thank you for all the interesting comments. Seems like they have a toe h=
old but not
  </div>=20
  <div>
   much more. I don&#39;t think the scheme was a great success even if give=
n great press.
  </div>=20
  <div>
   On PEI where we grew up, bobolinks were very common on farms where the g=
rass had
  </div>=20
  <div>
   not been harvested for a number of years. The land there does not suppor=
t hugh crops
  </div>=20
  <div>
   of grass and other plants like here in Nova Scotia. The Bobolink fields =
would be rather sparse
  </div>=20
  <div>
   to be generous. As they would say a rabbit wouldn&#39;t need to take a l=
unch to cross the field
  </div>=20
  <div>
   but wouldn&#39;t be well feed at the other side.
  </div>=20
  <div>
   The fields tended to seed to white spruce rather quickly and some fields=
 that I know which
  </div>=20
  <div>
   used to be good bobolink fields have been harvested for pulp already and=
 are now going to the next stage.
  </div>=20
  <div>
   Bobolinks might like the rather sparse vegetation for nests. Sparse vege=
tation is not a condition we find at Belle Isle.
  </div>=20
  <div>
   Enjoy Canada Day
  </div>=20
  <div>
