Patricia Chalmers, Pat McKay and I watched shorebirds on the falling =
tide at Three Fathom Harbour this afternoon.  Between the Three Fathom =
Harbour and Causeway Road sides of the harbour, the total count was:

Killdeer                     1 adult, 4 juveniles
Spotted Sandpiper    2 adults
Greater Yellowlegs    3
Willet                        11 adults, 1 juvenile
Lesser Yellowlegs    54
Whimbrel                 1 =20
Ruddy Turnstone      1
Least Sandpiper        2
Short-billed Dowitcher    202
