We walked east (Seaforth) from Causeway road on the trail. =
There=E2=80=99s a fresh water pond along there. Beside the trail and =
the pond, there was a flower that I haven=E2=80=99t seen before: upright =
stem, perhaps three-leaved--not sure, with the whole plant about a foot =
high, flower about 1.5 inches across, radially symmetric, six green =
sepals with dark red smaller petals surrounding a nice bunch of yellow =
stamens. I thought it was something I=E2=80=99d easily identify, when I =
got home and looked in my Peterson/McKenny, but I can=E2=80=99t find it.
Help, please.
