  <div>
   Hi All
  </div>
  <div>
   After supper yesterday the sky started to lighten up so I
  </div>
  <div>
   went to stand in the river for a few hours. And a beautiful
  </div>
  <div>
   evening it was - the clouds were delightful - lots of colors and shapes
  </div>
  <div>
   with the blue sky poking out here and there.
  </div>
  <div>
   But if you get cranky when the Deer Flies are about, it would be better to
  </div>
  <div>
   sit in front of the TV. It must have been a good hatch this year - but they are all
  </div>
  <div>
   friendly - come around and bring all their friends. Everyone trying to land on my ear!
  </div>
  <div>
   However about 8 pm they all go home to bed. More peaceful then.
  </div>
  <div>
   Cedar Waxwings were hawking insects all evening over the water. Three or four at a time,
  </div>
  <div>
   hard to say how many in all but there was some nearly all evening. A few times a couple of
  </div>
  <div>
   robins joined them - good size comparison. There was no shortage of insects for supper.
  </div>
  <div>
   Just as I was about to leave, the moon came out and I saw three Nighthawks flying high
  </div>
  <div>
   in the air. So high I couldn&#39;t hear their call. Looked like they were hawking insects but
  </div>
  <div>
   its not clear why they would be so high. Nice to see nevertheless.
  </div>
  <div>
   Earlier in the evening a flock of 8 Mallards went up river. First flock I&#39;ve seen flying this
  </div>
  <div>
   summer. This years hatch must be starting to fly. A lone Great Blue Heron flapped
  </div>
  <div>
   down river. There is a Heron that takes the same route every evening. Sometimes going
  </div>
  <div>
   sometimes coming to the salt water. Lots of things we don&#39;t understand!
  </div>
  <div>
   A great evening - get out and feed the Deer Flies soon!
  </div>
  <div>
