I haven't birded specifically at Burntcoat Head, but throughout Cobequid Ba=
y Semipalmated Sandpipers outnumber everything else, esp. in August.

I'm giving a few of my shorebird photos to the Municipality of East Hants f=
or a panel about the animals that can be found in or near the waters of the=
Bay of Fundy at Burntcoat. They mention shorebirds, but only talk about Se=
mipalmated Plovers and Least Sandpipers. I've told her that there are likel=
y orders of magnitude more Semipalmated Sandpipers than both of those menti=
oned on the panel. I just wanted to know if anyone has any information on t=
he shorebirds during their southward migration at Burntcoat Head? Thanks.
