A couple of observations from around the lot.
Ants, we are overrun with them, never seen so many.
Contrary to what I expected, we have lots of honey bees.
Dragonflies are scarce at our brook and we are getting more mosquito bites.
We occasionally have a black and White Admiral butterfly and they exhibit
strange behavior. They will spend a lot of time fluttering around humans,
even landing on my head and following us around the garden. Doesn't happen
with any other butterfly. It has been suggested that it has an affinity for
Navy guys.
