I don't think this post made it to NatureNS the first time I posed so I'm
posting again.

 

I don't know my cetaceans very well and I just assumed what I saw washed up
on Martinique Beach last week was a porpoise.  But Laurie Murison from the
Grand Manan Whale & Seabird Research Station informed me that it was a
Striped Dolphin. Obviously not normal for us but right now our sea surface
temps are the highest I've ever noticed in the 15 years I've been causally
following them.
