There's a Red-eyed Vireo singing intermittently on our Wolfville Ridge
property this morning. I heard one singing a couple of days ago (maybe same
one?) - they were late nesting here this year. Our Eastern Wood-Pewee
finally left two nights ago (it was still singing Sat a.m.)

I was rather surprised to see most (12+) of our Ruby-throats Hummingbirds
gone by mid-Aug. 2 juveniles are still visiting the feeders. It was a great
season for them - we had the largest number of hummers than we have ever had
before.

Cheers,

Judy Tufts
