  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Hi All</span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The last few days were spent canoeing streams and stillwaters<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">in southern Nova Scotia. A fine southern gentleman came along<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">and fly&#160;fished trout as we went. He was impressed both with Nova Scotia<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">scenery and the quality of the trout fishing. The Brook Trout are like<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">gems this time of year. A Brown Trout we caught was lovely too but<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">the bass were in their working clothes. And ready for action!<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The biggest highlight was the number of Creek Chub on one small stream.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Every second cast it seemed - some were quite large - approaching 20 cms.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">They seem to be confined to one stream of the streams we fished but I <br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">know they are quite common in the area. Their biology is not well understood by me<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">so I need do some studying.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The water level in the streams is very low - perhaps as low as I&#39;ve every seen it<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">but the temperature of the water has dropped down considerably - approx. 15 degrees in most<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">but one stream was very warm.&#160; 20+ so no trout there. A good rain will get the water <br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">flowing again.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The nice thing about exploring streams is the end is never reached and new<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">stretches are waiting for another time.<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Enjoy the rain in the next few days<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   <span style="font-size: 12pt;">Paul<br/></span>
  </div>
  <div>
   &#160;
  </div>
