Well guano!

I have no idea why I typed "NatureNS" into the "To:" line...that message
should have gone to the other owl biologists with which I communicate most
heavily at this time of year.

We are monitoring the Saw-whet Owl migration and those of us up north start
monitoring before those to the south. I start normally in the last week or
so of September, and my message, which would have been totally
comprehensible by them, meant that I had only had one opportunity so far,
found none, and the rain has prevented me from trying. The weekend looks
good though.
