I've =C2=A0noted the same experience this year. =C2=A0Always have a lot of =
Song Sparrows here breeding and have heard some pretty unusual "songs" comi=
ng out of them recently...also made me think of a purple finch, or a cross =
between several songs, all mixed up, and very LONG. =C2=A0I think the young=
sparrow was so enchanted with his own voice he didn't want to stop singing=
! =C2=A0Almost amazed at the sounds he was producing! =C2=A0At least that's=
 how I imagine it.

I had a song sparrow "warbling" in my yard today. I first thought it was a =
Purple Finch, which I have in my yard periodically.=C2=A0 It was not the us=
ual song, something the sun brought out?

Also, this morning I was lamenting that I have not yet had a White-throated=
Sparrow visit.=C2=A0 Every fall, one or two stop by.=C2=A0 Surprise, it wa=
s here in time for supper! Sure would be neat to know if it is the same bir=
d returning each year.
