I was fortunate to view this amazing bird in two of the locations
detailed by Jake Walker, who found the bird early this AM. I was able
to get one photo that I'm quite pleased with. The bird seemed to be
hunting and eating worms when it was in this harvested field.

I have one other photo in my fall gallery of a Hermit Thrush, standing
on one foot, that was flicking its tail so high that about half shows
in a frontal view shot. I kind of like that. (And believe me, this was
a split second !)
