Seven of us spent six days on Brier and worked hard to find 75 species. Win=
ds were Southerly for five days, and finally turned Northerly on Friday, bu=
t few new birds arrived. Birds of interest are listed including the first o=
bservers:
Osprey (Moores); Cooper's Hawk (Moores & Fullerton); Yellow-bellied Sapsuck=
er (McKay); Eastern Wood-Pewee (MacNeill & Moores); Western Kingbird (MacNe=
ill); Philadelphia Vireo (Covert); Eastern Bluebird (O'Brien); nine species=
 of warbler, including Worm-eating (Fullerton) & Wilson's (MacNeill); Clay-=
coloured Sparrow (Fullerton & Covert); Lincoln's Sparrow (Covert); N. Cardi=
nal (MacNeill); Rose-breasted Grosbeak (MacNeill); Indigo Bunting (McKay); =
Dickcissel (Covert).
Individual lists will be entered on eBird.
