There isn't any black flies here today but lots of other flies.

We call them midges, non biting, for want of a better word also

Crane Flies doing their dances also and some red tailed dragon flies.

I like Black Flies, they feed so many birds, fishes, dragon flies and so on.

I'm susprised they do not have a good reputation. A lot of fair weather naturalists
