In the report that I just made=2C having downloaded the pictures to my comp=
uter=2C the goldeneye is actually a Barrows X Common.  The picture of the s=
parrow that I captured is not the same bird that I originally saw at Belle =
Cove Road=2C Dublin Shore.  The original was definitely a field sparrow.  T=
he size alone with the pink bill=2C blank chest and the head and it being v=
ery tiny set it aside from similar species.  The bird I managed to capture =
in the photo after getting out of the car was actually a  clay-coloured spa=
