Greetings, all.

I saw a group of 5 phalaropes fly past to the northwest on December =
19th, while doing a seawatch from the headland at Gooseberry Cove, near =
Louisbourg in Cape Breton. Although Red Phalarope is much more to be =
expected in our waters in December than Red-necked, these birds were too =
distant to identify to species, so I'm reporting them as "phalarope =
species".

Cheers,
Susann Myers
